Concentration Reflection

I chose still life because I liked the idea of having complete control over the arrangement of objects as well as composition. I wanted to show in some of my pieces that still life isn't as boring as people think it is. I did that by over exaggerating the colors, making them look vibrant and fun. After all the practice I have done (the making of my 12 breadth pieces), I can see my improvement. At first I was intimidated to pursue in AP Art, but I'm really glad I did. I wouldn't have found all the mediums that I'm best at, which is oils and prismacolor. When I first worked with primacolors on my first project in art 4 I had a horrible experience. But after giving it another try and watching Mckayla and getting help from Mckayla I found prismacolors really easy to work with. When I first worked with oils, I fell in love with them from the start and I've used it so many times that I have figured out all the techniques. I will definitely continue to make art in my own time to advance my skills in these two mediums. After taking this class, I can see how well of an artist I really am. I had an amazing art teacher and I'll always remember this class because of the impact it had on me.
